Before the CD era, this two-LP set was the definitive Glenn Miller greatest-hits package. All 30 selections were big-sellers (there are no duds included) and none of Miller's most popular songs are missing. Programmed in chronological order, the music starts with "Moonlight Serenade " and continues up to "St. Louis Blues March " (which was actually from Miller's Army Air Force Band). Highlights include "Little Brown Jug, " "In the Mood, " "Pennsylvania Six-Five Thousand, " "Anvil Chorus, " "Chattanooga Choo Choo, " "A String of Pearls " and "Serenade in Blue "; in fact, every song here is a highlight. ~ All Music Guide Chummy MacGregor Arranger Dorothy Claire Vocals, Performer Glenn Miller Main Performer, Arranger Glenn Miller & His Orchestra Performer Jacqueline Murphy Design, Art Direction Jay Newland Engineer Joe Lopes Engineer John Snyder Reissue Producer Marion Hutton Vocals, Performer Paul Brizzi Digital Restoration, ?
