Scott Hallock and Bob DiGirolamo are the duo known as Tapping the Grey Sky. Like the Indigo Girls, Bob and Scott write separately and work out arrangements together, adding to each others songs. Both musicians play a variety of instruments and are accomplished singers songwriters who create rich strong harmonies on all thirteen songs of their debut CD. People who enjoy the acoustic folk, rock and pop music of the 60's, 70's and 80's as well as the more contemporary music of the 90's will love this group. Tapping the Grey Sky has performed in a variety of venues including festivals, county and street fairs, coffee houses, restaurants, bars, libraries, bookstores, and private parties in New Jersey, New York, Arizona, Florida, Massachusetts and Colorado. In the New Millenium it is their goal to reach a wider audience with performances at more festivals and other venues throughout the country. In addition to performing together, each performs solo as well as in a five piece band for bigger events. In their travels Bob and Scott have met and/or performed on the same program with many prominent musical artists including Rex Fowler of Aztec Two Step, Livingston Taylor, Arlo Guthrie, Roger McGuinn, Emmy Lou Harris, Michael Martin Murphy, Dave Wilcox, America, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Jars of Clay and Riders in the Sky.
